STREAMING: Twelfth Night (FSCJ dramaWORKS) In-Person
The LLC was truly looking forward to the student theatrical production of Much Ado About Nothing scheduled this April. For the safety of students, staff, and potential audience members, *that* show can't go on (for now), but with the help of video footage from the College Archive, *a* dramaWORKS production of Shakespeare can go on(line).
In November 2012, FSCJ students performed William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, a comedy about fraternal twins separated in a shipwreck who are swept into a comedy of mistaken identities. Viola, who disguises herself as a man named Cesario, falls in love with Duke Orsino, who in turn is in love with Countess Olivia. Upon meeting Viola-as-Cesario, Countess Olivia falls in love with her, and Shakespearean wackiness ensues.
Archival video of Twelfth Night will be available on the LLC's YouTube page (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGkm5t2ZX24n2Pp5dz_hCiQ) beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 2 and will remain visible until Sunnday, April 5 at 4:00 p.m. (Faculty and staff interested in using this footage outside of those times may find the video in Canvas Commons.)
