CANCELED: Can You Introduce Us As Joker?: An Interdisciplinary Approach to Todd Phillips's Film In-Person
Spend April Fool’s with the Clown Prince of Crime! Join Professors Alisa Aston, Ranjan Chhibber and Shep Shepard as they examine Joker (2019) from three different academic perspectives and discuss how the movie handles depictions of mental illness, class conflict and mythological archetypes. The discussion will be followed by a free screening of the film.
This event is a co-production of FSCJ’s Department ofHumanities, Library and Learning Commons and Student Life & Leadership and will take place at FSCJ's Nassau Center, room A-114, located at 76346 William Burgess Blvd.,Yulee, Florida 32097.
